Nelson Nghe is a Western Sydney-based artist and gambling reform advocate whose multidisciplinary practice is anchored in the lived/living experience of gambling harm as an affected child.
His pioneering work gives visual form to the hidden and complex impacts of gambling harm, particularly within unacknowledged families and underrepresented culturally diverse communities.
Driven by a strong commitment to social justice, Nelson uses art to humanise these untold stories in order to challenge the stigma and shame around gambling harm, and raise awareness for positive social change.
